Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mather). Everything went their way against the Lake View Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 5-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Mather needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Lake View from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Mather moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lake View, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.

Mather has already played their next game, a 3-3 draw against Schurz on the 22nd. As for Lake View, they will welcome Kenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenwood will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lake View surely won't give up without a fight.
