Their rough 76-56 loss to Smithtown Christian might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Smithtown Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lorenzo Crilly, who scored 26 points. The contest was Crilly's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah McCarter, who scored 24 points.
Bridgehampton's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Smithtown Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Bridgehampton will be home for the holidays to greet Southold at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithtown Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Shelter Island at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
