Lambert barely beat St. Pius X Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lambert Longhorns blew past the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions 3-0 on Tuesday. Considering the Longhorns have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Lambert's third in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Lambert is taking a road trip to square off against Forsyth Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lambert's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Forsyth Central's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they will take on Archer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
