They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp  3-0 win. The Bulldogs not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 9th (when they won  3-0).
 The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16,  25-20.
 Shamira Thigpen paced Garfield Heights' offense, picking up 11 kills. Thigpen got some help from  Aniah Taylor and her 22 assists. Taylor was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
The  victory  got Garfield Heights back to even at 9-9. As for Warrensville Heights, their loss  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 4-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matches. Garfield Heights will head out to  square off against Bedford  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Warrensville Heights, they will take on Medina Christian Academy at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
