Carsonville-Port Sanilac led North Central Thumb - South (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 61 points on Caseville.
North Huron's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Case threw for 122 and one touchdown and Michael Strozeski had 84 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Moore chipped in 145 yards. Moore helped North Huron's passing attack out by catching two balls for 37 yards.
Cole Simmons provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Eagles lost to the Tigers. He completed one pass for 10 yards and also ran for 139 yards. Simmons' favorite target this week was Chase Lowers, who caught one pass for 10 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Case and Moore the Warriors have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Case leads the league in passing with 530 yards, while Moore has rushed for 1229 yards this season. Caseville's Lowers leads the league in receiving yards with 371 on 16 catches.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Deckerville and Carsonville-Port Sanilac. The Eagles enters the contest ranked second in the state, while the Tigers ranks seventh.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of North Huron's Case. He connected with Strozeski on a 70-yard throw and catch as the Warriors fell to Peck.
