The biggest upset of the week belonged to Miller, who took down 272nd ranked Miller, 42-32.
Pierce City's Kole Kelley recorded the longest rushing play in Spring River Valley this season in his game against Liberal last week. Kelley scampered for 89 yards on the play and finished with 161 on the day as his team topped the Bulldogs.
Jasper's dynamic duo of Logan Johnston and Colton Sweeney proved tough for Greenfield to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Johnston threw for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns and Sweeney had 98 yards receiving. Nick Adkins helped Jasper's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 26 yards.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Johnston and Sweeney proved to be unstoppable against the Wildcats, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Sweeney was the best wideout in the league this week as Jasper bested Greenfield.
He went 5-12 with 1 interceptions.
Johnston put up the best numbers in passing as Richie Adkins' team beat Aaron O'Laughlin's team.
Conor Jones was the best running back in the league this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 186 yards as Sarcoxie defeated the Wildcats. Teammate Jade Bloss added to the ground attack by rushing for 97 yards.
Kelley provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pierce City topped Liberal. Kelley's favorite target this week was Zack Hyde, who caught 2 passes for 72 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Hunter Montez of Greenfield is the league leader in passing yards this season with 380. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Hyde. The Pierce City star has 9 catches for 176 yards.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Matt Holt's team's Hyde goes up against the Bears' Damian Oxendine.
A big matchup in Spring River Valley this week will be when Jasper takes on Lockwood. As it stands, the Eagles are in second, while the Tigers are in third.
The Eagles were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in the league. Pierce City defeated the Bulldogs 42-14 earlier in the week.
