Everything went their way against Providence-St. Mel as Josephinum made off with a 45-21 victory. That looming 45-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Josephinum yet this season.
Kayla Jones continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Josephinum's points. Da'Niya Phillips was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Josephinum's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Providence-St. Mel, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
