The Wyatt Chaparrals and the Argyle Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Wyatt Chaparrals had to settle for second. Wyatt was dealt a 45-14 loss at the hands of Argyle. Wyatt was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.
Jake Krekeler was a one-man wrecking crew for Argyle as he rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
This is the second loss in a row for Wyatt and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Argyle, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Wyatt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Argyle will square off against Wylie at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Wylie is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
