Halifax Academy has gone 8-2 against Faith Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out to  take on the Patriots  at 6:30  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Halifax Academy made easy work of Ridgecroft  and carried off  an  11-1 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.

 Payton Odom made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  doubles (two).
 In other batting news,  Karson Ricks was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-4.  Teagan Hamill also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian can  bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They put the hurt on Harrells Christian Academy with a sharp  12-2 victory. Considering the Patriots have won four matchups by more than nine  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Payton Whitley, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kate Camp, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Faith Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in four consecutive  games.
 Faith Christian's  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-8. As for Halifax Academy, the  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 6-8-1.
 Halifax Academy beat Faith Christian 7-2  in their previous matchup  back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
