Northview Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Seymour, posting a 82-55 victory at home. The victory was just what Northview Academy needed coming off of a 93-69 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Jefferson County lost to Science Hill at home by a decisive 56-37 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Jefferson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Science Hill is ranked 108th).
Northview Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Jefferson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
