The El Paso Tigers entered their tilt with the Chapin Huskies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. El Paso walked away with a 50-42 victory over Chapin on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for El Paso, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
El Paso's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalia Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amaris Ambriz, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Chapin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabrielle Rogers, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Wise, who scored seven points along with three steals.
El Paso is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Chapin, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-19.

Bel Air is coming into the match with four straight victories at home, so Chapin is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
