Basketball Recap: Nolan Robley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Logan View/Scribner-Snyder over Arlington

If Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was riding high fresh off their 68-43 takedown of Wisner-Pilger last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder fell 61-51 to the Arlington Eagles on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder of the 51-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolan Robley, who went 8 for 15 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Robley a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Josh Egbers, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 10 points.

Arlington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Schuyler Logemann, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and five steals. Logemann has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Oliver Ladehoff was another key player, going 8 of 18 on his way to 18 points and five assists.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Arlington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has already played their next game, a 47-44 victory against Raymond Central on the 23rd. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-46 win against Fort Calhoun on the 27th.
