Logan Elm had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Logan Elm, bringing their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Logan Elm does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, they have already played their next match, a 9-3 defeat against the Braves on the 23rd.
