Meanwhile,  everything went Bishop Diego's way against Oakwood on Friday as Bishop Diego made off with  a  15-1 victory.
  Penny Carroll was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.  Anna Fittipaldi was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Bishop Diego's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Santa Barbara, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Santa Barbara took their  victory against Bishop Diego  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Barbara since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
