On Friday Oakland will take on Jefferson at 7:00 PM. Oakland aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
Oakland took an ego-bruising defeat against Monroe two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Oakland came out on top against Central Linn by a score of 42-35. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Oakland's flat performance the match before.
Meanwhile, Jefferson might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. They captured a comfortable 33-18 win over Creswell. 33 seems to be a good number for Jefferson as the squad scooped up a win with the same point total in their matchup two weeks ago against Central Linn.
