Sebring's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shamari Jones, who scored 13 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Jane Zwayer, who scored 14 points.
Discovery's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.3 points per game. As for Sebring, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Discovery will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mulberry at 6:30 p.m. As for Sebring, they will head out on the road to take on Avon Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
