Aivree Austin (2028) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sienna Dooley (2026) was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Ava Willis-Bertram (2026) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
As for Mohave, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games.
On Mohave's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Rilynn Bragg gave up three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks.
At the plate, Allison Portillo was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2025.
Lee Williams has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against Bradshaw Mountain on the 20th. As for Mohave, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Poston Butte on the 18th.
