After two games on the road, Trego is heading back home. They will take on the Phillipsburg Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Trego will be strutting in after a win while Phillipsburg will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Trego earned a 51-40 win over Oakley.
Trego's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reece Smith, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Avery Ziegler was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Phillipsburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-48 to Norton.
Trego is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Phillipsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Trego was taken down by Phillipsburg 55-28 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Trego was down 34-6.
