If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Clearwater Valley. On Friday they take on Troy at 7:00 PM. Troy will need to watch out since Clearwater Valley have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Clearwater Valley put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Potlatch and carried off a 50-18 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Clearwater Valley had established a 42-12 advantage.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing six points in their last matchup, Troy made sure to put some points up on the board against Wallace. Troy were able to grind out a solid victory over Wallace, winning 38-26. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Troy as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Clearwater Valley to 5-1 and Troy to 1-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
