After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pocola, Warner was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Okemah Panthers an 8-0 shutout. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024.
Austin Spradlin was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Spradlin is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Jaxson Cash was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Landon Lee, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
