Even though the Harding Skippers have not done well against the Wickliffe Blue Devils recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Harding strolled past Wickliffe with points to spare, taking the game 73-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
James Gadomski had a dynamite game for Harding, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gadomski has scored at least 25% of Harding's points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Parsons, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Harding and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Wickliffe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding will face off against Badger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wickliffe, they will head out on the road to face off against Cuyahoga Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Cuyahoga Heights and Wickliffe are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
