Basketball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar and Cypress Creek squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lamar had to settle for second. They lost 57-34 to the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Texans in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Cypress Creek, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 31-5.

As of now, neither Lamar nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
