The Central Lake Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 101-50 win over Grand Traverse Academy on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Central Lake as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
When it comes to explaining why Grand Traverse Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Weston Kinney. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charlie Dennis, who scored 12 points.
Central Lake's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Grand Traverse Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.
