They were the clear victor by a 57-32 margin over Roger Bacon. Given Wyoming's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Roger Bacon is ranked 484th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Rolfert, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Morgan Rohling was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Wyoming's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Roger Bacon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Wyoming will be home for the holidays to greet Cincinnati Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roger Bacon, they will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
