Volleyball Recap: Ashley Cook and Rachel Caldwell Secure Win for Dominion Christian

Dominion Christian won the last time they faced Praise Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights blew past the Lions 3-0.

While Dominion Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.

Dominion Christian was led to victory by Rachel Caldwell and Ashley Cook. Caldwell had 18 digs and two aces, while Cook had five digs and two aces. Those five digs gave Cook a new career-high. Norah Lytle also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Dominion Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Praise Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dominion Christian will host Heritage at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Praise Academy, they will challenge Northwest Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
