Baseball Recap: West Forsyth's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Forsyth put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Camden County Wildcats.

Ryan Morgan looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Mason Meehan was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.

West Forsyth's record is now 3-0. As for Camden County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, West Forsyth will head out on the road to square off against Effingham County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Camden County, they will venture away from home to face off against South Effingham at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
