Softball Recap: Timnath Wins Going Away Against Rangeview

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timnath). Everything went their way against the Rangeview Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 17-2 victory.

Lily Miller made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Miller was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Timnath got a massive performance out of Tessa Strnad, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Strnad has posted since back in September of 2024. Zadia Diaz was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Timnath always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Timnath back to even at 2-2. As for Rangeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Timnath has already played their next game, a 9-9 tie against Thornton on the 23rd. As for Rangeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-12 draw against Mountain View on the 23rd.
