The Boswell Scorpions were the 78-65 winner over the Clayton Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Boswell fell 61-48 to Clayton on Tuesday. Boswell just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Layton Brown was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Shelton Lewis, who scored 8 points along with 14 rebounds.
Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Boswell will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Towson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they will take on Lakewood Christian at 2:10 p.m. on Thursday.
