Byron Nelson is 8-2 against V.R. Eaton since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Byron Nelson Bobcat will be playing in front of their home fans against the V.R. Eaton Eagles at 6:30  p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
 Last Friday, Byron Nelson faced Southlake Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Byron Nelson ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 6-1 walloping at the hands of Southlake Carroll. Byron Nelson has struggled against Southlake Carroll recently, as their  game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

 Meanwhile, V.R. Eaton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their third straight  defeat. They were the victim of a  rough 7-0 loss at the hands of Southlake Carroll. While losing is never fun, V.R. Eaton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings  (they are ranked 248th, while Southlake Carroll is ranked first).
 Byron Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-1. As for V.R. Eaton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record  this season.
 Byron Nelson took their  win against V.R. Eaton  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  4-0. Will Byron Nelson repeat their success,  or does  V.R. Eaton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
