The Rio Vista Rams can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over John Adams Academy. The win was just what Rio Vista needed coming off of a 68-44 loss in their prior matchup.
Rio Vista's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Holley, who scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Matt Bodle, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Rio Vista's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for John Adams Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Rio Vista will look to defend their home court on Monday against Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. As for John Adams Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
