The Lohn Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 86-22 loss at the hands of Brookesmith. Lohn has not had much luck with Brookesmith recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Trey Toft, who scored 24 points for Brookesmith. Toft is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jase Moreno, who scored 17 points.
Lohn's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Brookesmith, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8.
Lohn will take on Lometa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lohn comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Brookesmith, they will head out on the road to take on Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brookesmith is facing Cherokee at the right time seeing as Cherokee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
