After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Panguitch, Wayne was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tintic Miners with a sharp 21-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Badgers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

RJ Pauu was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Peterson, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Wayne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Wayne back to even at 2-2. As for Tintic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wayne has already played their next contest, a 9-3 defeat against Altamont on the 9th. As for Tintic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-9 loss against Piute on the 9th.
