On Friday, Red Oak were out to avenge their 0-20 loss to Kuemper from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Red Oak took a hard 7-23 fall against Kuemper.
The loss dropped Red Oak back to even at 4-4. The victory bumped Kuemper's record up to 4-3.
Next week Red Oak take on Greene County at 7:00 PM. Red Oak's defense better steel itself: Greene County are averaging 38.71 points per game. Kuemper will take on Battle Creek-Ida Grove/Odebolt-Arthur at home at 7:00 PM. These teams both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
