Northampton County had a senior duo take command as Michaela Hodge dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds and Amya Harmon dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Hodge is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Vincent, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, North Edgecombe earned a 53-42 win over Northwest Halifax on Friday.
Northampton County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for North Edgecombe, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
