The North Polar Bears put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Burncoat 87-40 at home. North has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 24 points or more this season.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cheyton Marshall, who scored ten points. Jean Carlos Pimental was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
North's victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Burncoat, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
North will head out on the road to challenge Doherty Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Doherty Memorial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 71st, while North is ranked first). As for Burncoat, they will be playing at home against South at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
