Marist kept a clean sheet against Marshfield on Monday. They blew past the Pirates 8-0. Marist might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Marshfield from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Piper Paslay led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Marist pushed their record up to 11-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three contests. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Coincidentally, Marist and Marshfield will both be playing Junction City the next time they take the pitch. The Spartans will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Pirates will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
