Softball Recap: Spring Lake Has No Trouble Against Christian

While Spring Lake put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Christian. Spring Lake blew past Christian 16-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-16 on Friday.

Tessa Britt was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Khloe Melinn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Spring Lake's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Christian, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Spring Lake will be playing in front of their home fans against Grand Haven at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Holland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
