Kennedy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Gallas out in front who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Joseph Dahl was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Kennedy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Muchin College Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Kennedy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dunbar at 6:30 p.m. Dunbar presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kennedy in Illinois (Dunbar is ranked 222nd, while Kennedy is ranked 539th). Muchin College Prep on the road again on Monday and play against Noble Street College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
