Silverton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Grants Pass Cavemen get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Foxes yet this season.

Paisley Rains was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hannah Houts, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Silverton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Silverton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Grants Pass, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverton will take on Sprague at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grants Pass, they will host Sheldon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheldon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Grants Pass' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
