They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Varsity Opponent 67-64. With that victory, Harmony Christian brought their scoring average up to 52.8 points per game.
Benjamin Minton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Harmony Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Shaun MIlls, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Harmony Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 140-504-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony Christian will take on Veritas Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Veritas Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Saturday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Herlong at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
