Softball Recap: Roosevelt Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Roosevelt waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the North Farmington Raiders with a sharp 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Roosevelt's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-8. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for North Farmington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Roosevelt will welcome Anderson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Farmington, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Oakridge at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
