After eight games on the road, Glennallen is heading back home. They will take on the Tok Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought game, but Glennallen had to settle for a 41-39 loss against Seward.
Despite their loss, Glennallen saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Raylie Sutherland, who scored 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sutherland has scored all season. Cheyenne Fields was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Tok came up short against Redington last Friday and fell 35-25. Tok has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Glennallen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Tok, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Glennallen against Tok when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 49-9 victory. With Glennallen ahead 31-2 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
