After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Castle, Corydon Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They snuck past the New Albany Bulldogs with a 38-34 win. The 38-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Corydon Central was led to victory by Reese Withers and Paisley Teeter. Withers posted 15 points and three blocks, while Teeter put up 15 points and five rebounds. Those three blocks gave Withers a new career-high.

Corydon Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for New Albany, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Corydon Central has already played their next game, a 47-31 defeat against Borden on the 15th. As for New Albany, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-25 loss against Northview on the 15th.
