The Independence Wildcats typically have all the answers at home, but  on Friday the Mooreville Troopers proved too difficult a challenge. Mooreville pulled ahead with a  13-12 photo finish over Independence. That's two games straight that Mooreville has won by exactly a single  point.
  Brody Thompson threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.   David Upchurch was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and  a touchdown.
 Mooreville's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Independence, their loss  ended a three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-3.
 Mooreville is on the road again  on Friday and play against Humphreys County at 7:00  p.m.  on November 10th. Humphreys County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
