Everything went their way against Columbia as Bear Grass Charter made off with a 55-29 win. The score was close at the half, but Bear Grass Charter pulled away in the second half with 37 points.
Bear Grass Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annmarie Cooper led the charge by scoring 17 points. That's the first time this season that Cooper scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Harrell, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
When it comes to explaining why Columbia lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shetana Spencer. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points.
