The Phillipsburg defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The victory bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Plainville back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Phillipsburg take on Smith Center at 7:00 PM. As for Plainville, they will face off against Thomas More Prep-Marian.
