Baseball Game Preview: Trezevant Bears vs. Memphis Business Academy Execs

Trezevant is a perfect 7-0 against Memphis Business Academy since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Execs at 5:00 p.m. Trezevant is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Trezevant got the win against Douglass by a conclusive 14-3. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Jaden Ivey was a standout: he scored two runs and stole six bases while going 2-for-2. Trezevant is 4-1 when Ivey posts two or more runs, but 1-5-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Zavion Evans, who scored two runs and stole five bases while going 1-for-2.

Trezevant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Memphis Business Academy lost 21-1 to Kingsbury on Monday. The Execs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Memphis Business Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Trezevant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Trezevant took their win against Memphis Business Academy in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 19-6 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Execs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
