In other batting news, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg let Clarissa Johnson and Cameron Carey run wild. Johnson scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Carey went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Carey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Wittenberg, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

LAYLA DEEL made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. DEEL was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, SOPHIA MONTS was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. MACKENZIE CONDILL was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .482. However, it's not like Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond struggles in that department as they've averaged .491. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
