The Hamilton Marines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 63-33 loss at the hands of Eastside. Hamilton lost against the Blazers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 61-55 score last time.
Hamilton's loss came despite strong showings from Clayton Spaw and Zane Ritter. Spaw scored 18 points along with three steals, while Ritter scored five points. It was the first time this season that Spaw scored 15 or more points.
Hamilton's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastside, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
