It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Webster had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They breezed by the Belmont Cardinals to the tune of  47-6. Considering the Wolverines have won eight contests by more than 28  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Rt Moye and  Dee Bingham. Moye rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries while  Bingham rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. East Webster also got help from  Jer'Kel Ivy, who showed off his sure hands for 132  receiving yards.
 East Webster pushed their record up to 10-1 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.3 points per game. As for Belmont, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record  this season.
 East Webster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  34-16  win against Humphreys County on the 15th. Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
